Kufayev: Igor Kufayev (*). Kufayev YouTube. As of July 2019, I love this spiritual teacher. I've watched over thirty videos of his so far. He is a very intelligent and wise person. His focus is on Kundalini and an enlightenment of the whole body. If you want a teacher in the flesh, you may wish to check him out. I think he resides in Tepoztlan, Mexico at this time. Maybe I'll go down there some day. He had many spiritual experiences as a child that make him an especially fit teacher. For me, I have no interest in sitting before a group and telling them things they already know. It is a dangerous business. But if you seek a guru, then I think you can do much worse for a start in your journey than sitting with Kufayev. A friend of mine, Ron Gardner, has a page with critical commentary on Kufayev (*). There is agreement among several posters on that page that Kufayev is not enlightened at the heart. Though much of his body is awake, and his mind is very sharp, there could be complications arising from his spiritual incompleteness relative to someone like Ramana Maharshi. But I do think Kufayev stands out from the crowd of would-be gurus presenting themselves as teachers to the world at this time. He just might be worth your attention. • Here is one of the many excellent talks Kufayev has given: Is Kundalini Not Enough? (*). I like this talk because he describes the initial effort involved in Kundalini awakening, that is followed by more of a submission to Grace and allowing Kundalini to direct further unfoldment. This resonates with my own experience completely.

KCT comments: I don't know much about Myree. I skimmed her coaching page and her short e-book and it seems like a basic, wholesome introduction to "spiritual awakening." The term "Kundalini" (for me, at least) is added to the mix when a sense of obvious heightened energies is involved. While someone like me can take a yogic experiential text or manual and covert that to actionable guidance or confirmation, others may prefer a living guide with whom they can talk. Myree may serve as a decent vehicle for that. I had to provide my email address in order to receive the e-book, and since that time have received regular email communications and solicitations. While these all contain helpful information, they also recommend booking 1:1 private coaching sessions that are, of course, not free. The Australian Myree earns a living providing guidance to others. She calls herself a "Kundalini expert." For me, having been through what I've been through, and having an appreciation of what I have yet to embrace or incarnate in this endless process, it is quite a leap for me to call anyone an "expert." But maybe Myree is. That would be for you to judge.
