I have daily observations that are worth sharing on occasion, but I generally don't have the time, energy, or mental clarity to type them out. Here are a couple of recent ones.

I had an "energy healing" yesterday. I glanced at the healer early on as she did her work. Did I see that her eyes had turned black? If so, even if just briefly, I believe the color indicates that she was possessed by a dark force, or her intention was to drain or control my own energy or access to that Energy. One must be on the lookout for such things. Even if not the case in this instance, I think it is common enough. I mean, if your own spiritual work is not complete, then I really do question your motivation to delve deeply into another person to "help" him or her navigate that which you are still seeking your own path through. Sometimes I am in these situations and I feel mostly that I am the one performing the service, like providing another person an outlet to work out his or her need to help others -- and in this case, earn $100. When she started working on my heart -- bringing her hand close to my left breast and then moving it outward, flicking her fingers this way and that to release energy -- I wondered whether she could sense the turmoil there. She gave me no indication that she did. She talked a lot. I guess you would call it cognitive therapy. It was up to me whether or not to "allow" or "give permission" to just about everything around me. Would I allow it to be a part of me? Would I disallow it? While there is some good in verbally identifying whatever you aspire to or wish to repudiate, there are real limits to that. There is much that your body incorporates, adapts to, and is harmed by, that you have no words for or consciousness of. Think of the innocence of a child, or a bird. At all times you must have humility and openness. There is a hidden or unconscious world all around us that is far more powerful than what our feeble minds can identify at any given moment. Did I feel better afterward or today? No, not really. I am looking for someone who can help my mom. With titanium hip and knee joints, and a Covid-vaxx-induced high blood pressure, she needs all the help she can get. Also, in my rural area, I wanted to support the local talent. I say let everyone be artists and healers! Maybe this particular practicioner really is special and is able to catalyze healthful shifts in me. It may yet happen. She did claim to be a conduit for heavenly energy to come down through her and guide me to health. Who is to say she is not?

After my healing session I went to a local eatery for tourists. There was a long line. Behind me was a couple. They were on their "smart" phones for the twenty minutes that I observed them. Their child was strapped into a stroller. She was a beautiful girl, about three years old. Her hair was pulled up into a topknot. Her skin was flawless. But her eyes were not alert. She stared ahead unblinking. After I, with an annoyed expression, looked at the parents and then down to the child a few times, the mom finally crouched down beside the girl and spoke to her. Very strangely, the little girl did not give her mother eye contact. Although her feet were not strapped in, she did not extend her legs and move them about. Nor did she explore her environment with her hands. Her eyes were equally uninquisitive. She did not seek to take in her world by craning her neck this way and that. I wondered, was this lack of engagement the product of vaccine damage? I've worked decades with young kids. Even the most cognitively "retarded" ones look about their world and express curiosity about it. It's like the spirit is always leaping out of them to connect with the world. But this girl was different. It's like her capacity for spiritual traction had been subdued or damaged. Was it on account of her being raised by digitally addicted parents? Could the parents not be bothered to let her walk about, or hang on their hands as they stood? I mean, everyone had been cooped up in their rental cars and tour buses for hours. Should not this girl have been allowed to stand? Perhaps the little girl was mentally or physically handicapped from birth. But my sense was that this was not the case. I believe her condition was entirely avoidable.

I have done some informal assessments on alert versus subdued kids. Vaccination status plays a determining role. If an 18 month in his mother's arms looks around at his world with a dull stare, you would be correct to suspect vaccine damage as the culprit. Children should burst forth with life and inquisitiveness. In the 1950s US kids got one shot. Kids like me born in the 1960s got 2 or 3. But now the vaccine schedule requires something like 70 by the time a child turns 18, several of them before the newborn has even received his mother's colostrum, if he is lucky enough even to have a mother who breastfeeds.

I am in line for a latte at Costco a week ago. As I near the front of the line, two young men ask to get in front of me. The taller kid is wearing a lot of cologne. It's only noon. I complain to him, "You have a lot of cologne on. I bet a lot of women are attracted to that." He and his friend smirk at me. The friend is a bit darker in complexion and is a good 25 pounds overweight. It's baby fat. His hair is almost shoulder length, but feathered perfectly. He had on an aloha shirt. No 20-year-olds wear aloha shirts. Only old people and tourists do. I studied these two guys. Both were young and handsome. They even appeared innocent. But what was up with the khaki shorts, aloha shirt, scented body and perfectly coiffed hair? In my mind their presentation was a façade. A trap was laid. I said to them, "What are you two up to? Shagging old ladies for their money?" One looked at me with raised eyebrows. The other looked away. I don't think I was far from the mark. I added a closing comment, "They just want someone to listen to them, and to make them feel like a woman again." The economy is getting tougher. You gotta do what you gotta do to survive. Why let young women get all the sex business?
