As I sit here writing, knowing what a crap shoot it is in the publishing industry, I am almost entirely without hope that I will secure safety for myself. How can I create a beautiful message out of this madness? Who wants to read about such suffering? The whole thing is fucking outrageous. But I cannot just sit here, allowing no messages to remain when this body becomes dust. I have to at least leave some writing on the wall, so that the next person to naively tread this path will know what the hell to expect.
